Designed for classic mountaineering, the Summit Evo ice ax is the essential tool for all types of alpine outings. Lightweight, its hydro-shaped tube offers very good grip comfort under the head of the ice ax. The technical design of the contour of the handle provides the clearance necessary for use in steep, icy terrain. The forged and well balanced head provides very good anchoring qualities.   – the handle is curved in its upper part which offers a good clearance distance when climbing,

  – thin blade (3 mm), robust and toothed at the end, ensuring good anchoring quality in hard snow and ice,
  – thicker blade in the center to promote grip in soft snow.
  – teeth in the upper part of the blade reinforcing the holding of the ice ax when using the ice ax-ramp,
  – robust stainless steel tip for very good penetration in hard snow and when using an ice ax.
• High resistance and practical aspects:
  – very resistant steel purlin offering a comfortable support surface and with an edge design allowing efficient trimming of steps,
  – inclined purlin to correctly guide the ice ax in the snow (use as an ice ax),
