Caving descender with assisted braking

Designed for caving, STOP is a descender with assisted braking. It is used with semi-static ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm in diameter. It allows better control of the descent and facilitates maneuvering on a rope. The ergonomic handle makes gripping and use particularly comfortable. The friction zones, made of stainless steel, give it great durability.

Descent control:
– assisted braking allowing better control of the descent,
– maneuvering on a rope facilitated for the passage of splits,
– compatible with semi-static ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm.

Comfort in use :
– comfortable grip and easy release of the rope, thanks to the ergonomic handle,
– handle oriented towards the user for better control of the movement of the rope,
– multiplication of the handle for a comfortable descent,
– rope installation diagram engraved on the descender,
– locking pawl on the openable flange for easy installation of the rope, while keeping the device connected to the harness,
– long connection hole allowing the FREINO Z carabiner to be turned upside down and thus make the descender captive when transferring from the equipment carrier to the half-round carabiner.

Very high durability, thanks to the pulley and the cam in stainless steel.
