Versatile and lightweight belay device for use with one or two falls of rope and allows the belay of the second from the belay
Versatile and ultra-light, REVERSO is a belayer-descender intended for the practice of climbing on cliffs, multi-pitch routes and mountaineering. It allows a climber to be belayed, abseiling descents and it has a Reverso mode for belaying one or two seconds. The specific design of the rope passage facilitates the sliding of the rope in the device, while preserving it from wear. It is suitable for most rope diameters: single from 8.5 to 10.5 mm, double from 7.1 to 9.2 mm and twinned from 6.9 to 9.2 mm.
Ease of use :
– common gestures, based on accompanying the rope in the device and keeping one hand permanently on the rope on the braking side,
– smooth sliding of the rope in the device,
– braking control, thanks to the V-shaped and grooved braking grooves,
– installation diagrams engraved on the belayer (for belay and Reverso mode).
Versatility of use for cliff climbing, multi-pitch and mountaineering:
– makes it possible to ensure a climber and to make abseiling descents on one or two legs,
– Reverso mode allowing one or two seconds to be belayed with brake assist,
– release hole to give slack to the second with a simple carabiner.

– enhanced durability, thanks to the rounded design of the rope passage, limiting wear and tear on the device,
