Belay device with cam-assisted locking and anti-panic handle, particularly suitable for learning and intensive use

GRIGRI + is a belay device with assisted locking and anti-panic handle. The cam-assisted locking improves the comfort of belaying during work on the track and when stopping falls. The reduction of the handle allows exceptional control of the descent. A selector button allows you to choose between two belay modes: top rope or lead climbing. The top rope mode and the anti-panic handle make GRIGRI + particularly suitable for learning. It can be used with all 8.5 to 11mm single ropes. Thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate, it is suitable for intensive use, both indoors and on cliffs.

Belay device with cam-assisted blocking for practice on cliffs and indoors:
– common gestures, based on the accompaniment of the rope in the device and the permanent maintenance of one hand on the rope on the braking side,
– belay comfort, thanks to the blocking assisted by cam: during a fall or when the climber rests, the rope tightens, the cam pivots and clamps the rope to block it,
– cam assisted locking offering great tolerance of the position of the hand on the braking side, whatever the angle between the climber’s rope and that on the braking side,
– rope installation diagram engraved on the belayer (inside and outside).

Exceptional comfort during the descent:
– comfortable grip and easy release of the rope, thanks to the ergonomic handle,
– very progressive control of the movement of the rope providing a smooth and comfortable descent,
– reduction of the handle by 3 for better control of the movement of the rope on small diameters and less effort on the handle for large rope diameters.

Particularly suitable for learning and intensive use:
– anti-panic handle: if the belayer pulls too hard on the handle, the anti-panic function is triggered,
– choice of belay mode, top rope or leading climbing, thanks to the lockable selection button: top rope belay mode facilitates slack recovery and provides more comfortable belaying,
– compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm,
– very high durability, for intensive use, thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate.
