Petzl Altitude Orange Harness

Lightweight and compact harness for mountaineering and ski touring, slip on feet on the ground

Very light, the ALTITUDE harness is intended for mountaineering and ski touring. Thanks to a simple architecture, it allows donning with skis or crampons on the feet. The two equipment carriers and the passers-by ensure the transport and organization of the equipment necessary for a mountain race.

Designed for mountaineering and ski touring:
– Slip on feet on the ground, with skis or crampons on the feet,
– DOUBLEBACK LIGHT buckle and tightening strap easy to handle, even with gloves,
– comfortable to walk and in suspension.

Lightweight and compact:
– only 150 g,
– optimized compactness, once stored in its pocket,
– extremely thin and flexible waistband and leg loops, thanks to WIREFRAME technology. The HDPE (high tenacity polyethylene) threads deployed in the waistband and the thighs provide optimal load distribution, without the need for foams. The lightness and the comfort allow the harness to be forgotten.

Simplicity and ability to transport material:
– particularly refined architecture,
– single tie-in point,
– two equipment carriers to transport and organize the equipment,
– loops with silicone interior on each leg circumference to hold an ice screw.
